This project aimed to test the limits of photorealistic, 3D-Rendering by building a complex scene in a state of the art GPU pathtracing renderengine.

Rendering realistic and convincing natural enviornments is still a great challenge technically as well as artistically, due to the chaotic nature of such enviornments. It was a lot of fun!
Based loosely on the Juvet Landscape Hotel, as seen in Deus Ex Machina.
Created using 3dsMax, GrowFX (procedural foliage plugin). Rendered in FSTORM (GPU). Post-production in Resolve.
